NAIHANCHI SHODAN, NAIHANCHI NIDAN, NAIHANCHI SANDAN, PINAN SHODAN, PINAN NIDAN, PINAN SANDAN, PINAN YONDAN, PINAN GODAN, PASSAI-SHO, PASSAI-DAI, CHINTO, KUSANKU-SHO, KUSANKU-DAI, GOJUSHIHO

*The above Kata will be the primary Kata taught in the Sandoval's Karate Kobudo Federation within the Shorin-Ryu Kenkyu Karate-Do Association.

*Gojushiho Kata will only be taught to advanced and dedicated students.

Kyu Promotion Requirements:
9th Kyu - 3rd Kyu
2nd Kyu - 2 Kata's, Naihanchi Shodan, Pinan Shodan
1st Kyu - 2 Kata's, Naihanchi Sandan, Pinan Nidan
* State Director is responsible for test requirements for 9th Kyu - 3rd Kyu.

* It's recommended that testing be conducted 2-4 times per year. All testing is to be conducted at the dojo in front of all students.

* It's recommended that the State Director conduct a pre-test 1-2 weeks prior to the test date to check progress of the student.

* On the scheduled test date, the State Director may appoint a testing board that consists of advanced students that will assist with the evaluation of testing students.

DAN PROMOTION KATA REQUIREMENTS
1st Degree Black Belt - Naihanchi Shodan, Pinan Shodan
2nd Degree Black Belt - Naihanchi Nidan, Pinan Nidan
3rd Degree Black Belt - Naihanchi Sandan, Pinan Sandan
4th Degree Black Belt - Passai-Sho, Kusanku-Sho
*5th Degree Black Belt - Passai-Dai, Kusanku-Dai

*Kaicho or 1st Vice President to conduct test.
